This Week At Altitude
MONDAY
Strength + Conditioning
Getting back into the swing of things with pause front squats. This version of the squat gives us an opportunity to focus on controlling the weight to the bottom position, our torso and knee positions, and a good drive up. Conditioning will be a 20 minute EMOM to get some breathing and total body work, shaking off the holiday break.
TUESDAY
Interval Weight Training
We go into hang power clean to push press and rowing for some sprint work in part 1, and DB deadlifts and bike sprints for part 2. The third segment brings us some slower and more focused work on the shoulders and core.
WEDNESDAY
Stamina
Steady and longer effort. A good midweek change of pace.
THURSDAY
Strength + Conditioning
Seated overhead presses today paired with single arm bent over rows for upper body work and then a 15 minute countdown effort. Each round getting a little shorter and faster than the previous one.
FRIDAY
Interval Weight Training
Final day of the week is going to be jump squats and bike to hit the legs and a ground to overhead and row for some more anaerobic work today. Third segment will work the hips and core.
