This Week At Altitude
MONDAY
Strength + Conditioning
Deadlifts to start the week off, sets of 6 now as we enter the 3rd week of our strength cycle. Continue adding to the weight used in our previous week by 5-10% depending on how you feel. Conditioning today is lungs and legs as we start hitting some running or rowing, KB front squats, and situps.
TUESDAY
Strength + Conditioning
Day 2 is overhead presses, again with sets of 6 on this final week of the strength cycle. Conditioning is 20 min EMOM with rowing DB snatch to lunges and burpees.
WEDNESDAY
Stamina
Stamina session to break up the week and give a change of pace. We have some longer efforts and today we blend running, rowing, and biking into a great session for the cardiovascular system.
THURSDAY
Interval Weight Training
We’ve got power cleans paired with the bike erg first, and then push press paired with echo bike second. These are harder sprints with about a 1 to 1 work/rest ratio, so get after these. Final portion is durability / structural work for the midsection and hips.
FRIDAY
Strength + Conditioning
Finish the week with front squats for our last strength session of this cycle. We do a 14 minute building effort with dumbbells and rowing for conditioning today.
