Strength Cycle Begins

Monday

We have a strength cycle beginning today, so three times per week will be a strength focus: 1 day of hinging, 1 day of pressing, and one day of squatting.

Up first is pause front squats. This a challenging variation that requires a lot of control and stability in the bottom of the squat. Our conditioning compliments this one well, with rowing, DB burpees, swings and lunges.

Tuesday

Push presses today for our strength, and a pair of 8 minute AMRAP’s for conditioning that have a full body complexes and biking.

Wednesday

Stamina for the middle of the week. Steady paced effort to keep you working for about 40 minutes.

Thursday

This IWT has hang cleans + echo bike and then cyclist squats and C2 Bike. Part 3’s accessory work focuses on back and shoulders.

Friday

Barbell RDL’s today for hinging on our last strength day of the week. This will pair with an ascending rep scheme / momentum building circuit for conditioning.
