This Week At Altitude
Monday
Density training cycle beings today. We’re adding a time component to keep a rhythm to our strength training with a new set beginning every 90 sec, alternating between Deadlifts and seated overhead presses. The conditioning is a burner with rowing and devil’s presses.
Tuesday
IWT number one this week has rotational ball slams and sprints, into bench press and echo bike. Part 3’s accessory work is a core circuit.
Wednesday
We’ll be using a new format for stamina again, with a longer EMOM split. The goal here is still a “zone 2” type of workout with a steadier, longer paced effort of mixed cardio and isometrics.
Thursday
Second round of density style strength training today with KB front squats and bent over rows. Our conditioning is a combo of 8 minute circuits with some rope pulls, sleds, and echo bikes.
Friday
Our final IWT this week has hang power cleans + rowing, followed by KB swing + sprint. Part 3 is shoulders and upper back accessory work.
