This Week At Altitude
Strength Cycle Week 2
Monday
We begin the week with Anterior/Pushing strength using Incline bench press and tricep extensions, followed by DB push press, echo bike and planks for conditioning.
Tuesday
We have IWT today, so more explosive movements with power cleans and sprints on the bike, followed by KB swings and rowing as we did last week. The finisher is pulled from our ski conditioning program.
Wednesday
Stamina has slideboards, bikes and jump rope for an aerobic day mixed with unilateral and isometrics.
Thursday
Full body strength today has a barbell complex followed by some conditioning work with ball slams, carries, and bodyweight movements.
Friday
We have our final strength day today, which has pulling movements emphasized. Deadlifts and eccentric focused ring rows are first, followed by some sled pulls, landmine RDLs and band holds.
